Collection: Donna LaBeau

Donna Labeau has been a practicing artist for over 40 years in watercolors, oils, and pastels. She lives in Grand
Rapids, Minnesota, and has exhibited and taught at galleries across the state. Many of her paintings are impressionistic landscapes painted “en plein air,”
meaning completed outdoors. Her subjects include flowers picked from her garden, and still life’s painted of items she loves — things that caught her eye and needed to be captured in her art.

Throughout her artistry, Donna never stopped needing to play with different mediums, and this shows in her expansive body of work.

“When I was in my late thirties, I remembered what I had forgotten, and that was that I wanted to be an artist.”
